The South China Moring Post writes the following article on November, 11th, 1995: US child aid BANGKOK: The United States is contributing US$400,000 to projects in rural Thailand in its first aid specifically directed at fighting the serious child labour and prostituion problem. Government statistics show up to five million children between the ages of 12 and 18 are not in school. Of these, 40,000 may be prostitutes.
